About Our Farm

Real Food, Real Soil

We all know that food is important. So is how it's grown. That's why we never use synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides on our farm. We believe that in order to be good farmers, we must also be good stewards of our local ecology- working with it instead of bending it to our will. That means we are actively working to increase the health and fertility of our soil, create native pollinator and wildlife habitat, and conserve water, all while producing the most nutrient-dense fresh produce we can.

Regenerative Practices

The Yakima Valley is our home, and we want to see it continue to produce food long into the future. One of the ways we as farmers can help make that future a reality is by treating our main resources (soil and water) with the care they deserve. Here on the farm we utilize a variety of techniques to do just that- minimizing tillage, composting, crop rotation, and cover cropping for soil health, and we use high efficiency sprinklers and drip irrigation to conserve our  water consumption.

Keeping it Local

Let's be real- a lot of what we produce here in the Valley is sold to buyers far away. (This isn't a bad thing, it's just how it is.) We prefer to do it a little differently though. We made a commitment to try and keep our food within 50 miles of the farm, in order to better serve our local community. We also work hard to keep our production costs low, which means you don't have to break the bank for healthy, local food.
